# Trigonometric Table from 0 to 360 degree

The trigonometric table from 0 to 360 degree can be helpful in trigonometry.

In the previous post, we have learned about the basics of trigonometry. If you haven’t read that please have a look.[Trigonometry introduction].Now that you have learned about trigonometric ratios we will learn about the trigonometric table.

The table is very useful when it comes to the application of trigonometry. The Trigonometric table contains the value of trigonometric ratios at specific angles. These values are applicable in the right-angle triangle.

Following is the trigonometric table with angles from 0 to 360 degree.

Make sure you learn this table by heart. If not all,you must go for values of sin, cos, and tan. This will be very beneficial while solving trigonometry problems.

This table will save your time from searching the values for specific angles. For example, you can quickly find the value of cos 180 degree, tan 45 degree, sin 180 degree , etc at once.

As you have noticed the values at certain angles are negative. A question must have arisen on your mind why is it so? This is because the nature of trigonometric ratios is different in different quadrants.

To read further I have explained the signs of trigonometric ratios in different quadrants. Please have a look.

1. What is the reason some values are not defined?

1. Some of the values are not defined because their values are of the form 1/0 or -1/0.
For example,
1) tan 90(degree) = sin 90 degree / cos 90 degree = 1/0 = not defined
2) tan 270 degree = sin 270 degree/ cos 270 degree = -1/0 = not defined
3) cosec 0 degree = 1/ sin 0 degree = 1/0 = not defined
etc.
In mathematics any number of the form a/0 is undefined i.e. any number divided by zero is undefined.
